Hi All,
Just getting started with reloading(9mm Luger).
What powder and bullets give the good results?
I'm planning reload 124 and 147 grain bullets.
I'll appreciate any tested reloading recipes, suggestions.
Thanks.
:)

Here's Alliant's similar guide for their powders:

I have used both Titegroup and Bullseye with 147gr Berry's bullets and had good results with both.
However, these powders are considered a little fast for heavier bullets and / or for someone new to reloading, not the best choice as pressures can spike rapidly with small increments in charge weight.
Unique, Power Pistol, W231, or WSF are other popular powders that are a little more forgiving.

Another thing to consider is what powder can you actually find on the store shelf. Unless you order online, or have friends/family around Brandon or Virden that could pick up for you ( at Wolverine or Jo-Brooks) our local vendors are at best..unreliable. I ended up buying a keg of Bullseye simply because they simply never seem to have whatever I'm looking for in stock.
Pairing up with somebody to help share the costs helps a lot too.

I prefer Titegroup for 9mm, but I have used lots of 231, Bullseye, Unique and Clays. For 124's I use about 4.5 grains, for 147's I use 3.5 grains. There are lots of powders that work well for 9mm, find one you like and try to get at least 4lb at a time.

Thanks everybody for the input. Since I wasn't able to find a Titegroup I use the Vihtavori.
My current recipe :
Berry's 124 grn RN bullets,
4.0 grn VV N320,
OAL 1.142"
